How do you find topics to write about? In today’s session I discuss 4 topics I believe can help you find the best story to write.
1.) People Watch -Observe the people around you. Watch their mannerisms. How do they speak? How do they make facial expressions? What can you learn from them?
2.) Talk to family members. What juicy details are they willing to spill to you about their life that you can turn into a story. With permission of course!
3.) Look at the world around you. What do you see outside your window? Your neighborhood, your neighbors , people who you interact with? What are they like? What do they do?
4.) Get Creative! Listen to music! What emotion do you feel when you listen to the song? Can you paint a picture of what it means?! Lastly, do what feels right to you! Most importantly, have fun!
